Slip-N-Slide CEO, Ted Lucas, recently revealed that the label’s  standout rapper Trick Daddy will be leaving the Miami based label in the coming weeks.

Lucas told SOHH that the mishandling of Trick Daddy’s last album caused a rift between them and  the rapper has requested for Slip-N-Slide to let him loose.

"He has asked to be released from the label," Lucas said. "We are in the process of making that decision; most likely Trick will no longer be on Slip-N-Slide going forward."

Trick Daddy’s success in the early 90’s  helped  jumpstart Slip-N-Slide.  The label currently houses Trina , Rick Ross and Plies , among others.

Rick Ross is slated to release his sophomore album Trilla in December while Trina will drop herelatest album next year.
