Fight raging over Ol' Dirty Bastard album

Ol' Dirty Bastard's widow has teamed with a producer to keep five of the rapper's kids and an ex-girlfriend from getting any U.S. album profits, a report says.

The New York Post reported that the rapper's widow, Icelene Jones, has paired up with Richard Flanzer to create a deal that allegedly would direct all funds received from Ol' Dirty Bastard's posthumous "A Son Unique" album to the producer rather than his family.

The alleged deal could cut out the rapper's children, their mothers and even the Ol' Dirty Bastard's own mother of the financial loop of the profits when the album is released Nov. 7, the report said.

The rapper, whose real name was Russell Jones, died while recording the album in 2004, and the recent allegations surrounding its release have been introduced by his widow's former lawyer, Steven Mandel.

The paper said that as part of their agreement, Flanzer will pass along three-quarters of the album's profits to the rapper's widow while keeping the remainder for himself.
