Supernatural Enters The Book Of Guiness Records With 9 Hour FreestylePosted: 8/8/2006 6:57:04 AM by Black widow While serving as host to this past weekend’s Rock The Bells annual hip-hop festival, underground emcee Supernatural broke the record for delivering the longest freestyle rap. The jaw-dropping rap, freestyled for over nine hours, has officially placed him into the World Book of Guiness Records. The remarkably versatile emcee used a variety of objects, events and people to serve as subjects for his rhymes. On a stage that resembled somebody’s living room, audience members handed him random items which he would magically build verses around. Dailybulletin.com paints a vivid picture of his amazing skills. As previously reported, the record was formerly held by Canadian rapper D.O., who spewed impromtu verses for eight hours and forty-five minutes straight. The announcement came Saturday, during the festival’s first day of events which saw performances from some of hip-hop music’s greats including the Wu Tang Clan, Mos Def, Talib Kweli Redman, De La Soul and many more. After the announcement, a hoarse Supernatural somehow garnered the energy to freestyle even more over a Mobb Deep track. |
