Talib Kweli will unveil his sophomore album, The Beautiful Struggle on September 28th. His first single  will be "I Try"  which features Mary J Blige and is produced by Kanye West. Other guests dropping in on the album include Res, Faith Evans, Kweli's Black Star colleague Mos Def and producers Just Blaze and Charlamagne.

As previously reported, Kweli will perform Saturday (Sept. 4) as part of the Urban Music Festival in Toronto.

Fredro Starr To Make JMJ Movie!*

Fredro Starr is set to produce a movie based on the life story of his mentor and late Run-DMC DJ Jam Master Jay.The script is being written with a cousin of Jay's and according to Starr, Derek Luke, Mekhi Phifer, Will Smith and Queen Latifah have expressed interest in the movie, which he hopes to have out as soon as next year.

No one has been arrested or charged for the murder of the legendary DJ, who was gunned down in 2002 in Queens, New York.
