Lil Wayne's anticipated rock album, Rebirth, will feature cameos from some of the biggest names in the rock industry.

According to Rolling Stone, Lenny Kravitz, Avril Lavigne and Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy will be appearing on the album.

Lil Wayne's choice to dabble in rock has been met with raised eyebrows but the rapper is not letting people's opinion sway his rock aspirations.

"Wayne knows some people aren't gonna feel this," Cortez Bryant, Lil Wayne's manager, told Rolling Stone.  "He don't care."

Bryant revealed that Wayne has recorded around 30 songs for Rebirth and is still shelling more tunes.

"He's still trying to give me tracks, and I'm like, 'You gotta stop,'" divulged Bryant. "'You're driving me crazy.'"

Rebirth is slated for release in June. He had already released two singles from the project, "Prom Queen" and "Hot Revolver" featuring Dre of the production duo Cool & Dre.

Cool & Dre are handling the bulk of Rebirth's production.

"Wayne's a rock star,” Cool told Rolling Stone. "He just needed the soundtrack."
