As reported earlier, Snoop was banned from the UK in 2006 following an altercation between the rapper’s entourage and British police at London’s Heathrow Airport.

According to The Mirror, Snoop recently revealed that he has reached out to soccer star David Beckham and rocker Paul McCartney to help him lift the ban.

“I love London and I’m desperate to come back,”  Snoop said. “I’ve called David Beckham [and] Paul McCartney. I’m trying to get through to Madonna as well. I’d love them all to write to the Prime Minister to change his mind”

Snoop was also barred from Australia in 2007 but his ban was lifted last year after Australian actor Russell Crowe reached out to the country’s immigration officials.
