IT AIN’T ME

Lupe Fiasco is denying that he's the front man for a new indie rock band called Japanese Cartoon.

Over the weekend, two tracks from the band  leaked online and there was speculation that Lupe was the voice heard as the lead singer.

In a post on OkayPlayer.com's forums yesterdy (January 6), Lupe stated that he has a relationship with the group but shot down rumours that he was the singer on their music.

"I like those kids a lot," Lupe wrote. "Met the bass player overseas last year and their publicist/manager is a good friend from like childhood. May sign them. Not me singing though."
