According to SOHH, Rappaport revealed that he will be directing the documentary and Nas will be serving as a producer. The documentary will chronicle the group’s career. “I’ve just been a fan of theirs for a long time,” Rappaport said. “They’re my favorite group and they’re worthy of it in my opinion. They’re like the Rolling Stones of hip-hop.” The documentary is expected to hit the big screen. It’s title and projected release date was not given.
Nas is reportedly putting together a documentary based on the legendary rap group A Tribe Called Quest with actor Michael Rappaport.
