Sixshot Bits: Brief News On T.I., Paul Wall, DMC & Keak Da Sneak

Bay Area rapper Keak Da Sneak was arrested  last week on 4 felony charges just hours after he attended a funeral in his hometown.

According to The San Francisco Weekly, Keak was arrested on firearm charges and resisting officers on Thursday (July 10).

He was hospitalized before being booked into custody.

Keak remained in custody over the weekend for an outstanding warrant and appeared  before a judge on Monday (July 14).  He is expected to post bail in the coming days.

 

DR. PAUL WALL

Houston rapper Paul Wall announced today (July 18) that he will be launching the first ever detox product aimed at combating toxic metals in inks.

The product, called Tattoo Detox, is taken orally and removes harmful metals found in tattoo ink and cleanses the blood.

PUSHED BACK

T.I.'s sixth solo album, Paper Trail has been pushed back to September 9th. The album was initially due for release next month.

Earlier this week, the Atlanta rapper premiered the first official single off the album  called "Whatever You Like".  [Listen to "Whatever You Like"]

 

UNDER THE KNIFE

Darryl “DMC”  McDaniels, one third of the legendary rap group RUN DMC, will be undergoing surgery today (July 18) at a New Jersey hospital to remove two major blood clots.

According to E! Online, DMC had been suffering from pain and swelling in his left arm. Doctors would discover the blockages when he went to the hospital.

It is unknown when the rapper will be released from hospital.
