Aftermath rapper Bishop Lamont recently revealed to Entertainment Weekly that Eminem has begun recording his on sixth album.

“Em is excited,” Lamont said.  “He’s been quiet too long, and he’s got a lot to get off his chest.”

Eminem hasn't released a solo album in the past four years.  The rapper has been on hiatus for the past two-plus years, in part to deal with his emotions about the 2006 death of best friend and fellow D12 member Proof in a bar shooting in Detroit.

“He went through what he had to go through, and now he’s been able to take all the pain and stress and put it out in his music," said Lamont.

Eminem's label also confirmed that the rapper is crafting an album but a release date has not been set.
