The daughter of late jazz singer Joe Farrell is reportedly suing Kanye West, Method Man, Common and Redman for sampling her father's song without permission.

According to BBC, Kathleen Firrantello filed the lawsuit in a New York Court and claims the aforementioned rappers sampled her father's 1974 song titled "Upon This Rock".

Firrantello claims Kanye sampled her father's song in his song “Gone” and that Method Man and Redman used it in their song “Run 4 Cover”.  She claims Common sampled her dad's song in his song “Chi City”.

Firrantello is seeking damages of at least $1 million and wants no more copies of the songs be made, sold or performed.
