Atlanta rapper Baby D is currently being held in Ohio on federal charges for allegedly trafficking cocaine.

According to a press release issued today (April 24) by Baby D's labels, Koch Records and Big Oomp Records,  Baby D was arrested in Dayton, Ohio on March 26th and is being held without bail.

Details surrounding Baby D's arrest were not revealed. 

Baby D, who has vehemently denied the trafficking charges, currently has three pending assault charges in Tennessee where he has a bond set.

Baby D gained national attention last year via his feature on DJ UNK’s single, “Hit The Dance Floor”.

He was preparing to release his latest album A-Town Secret Weapon next week (April 29).  His first single off the set, “I'm Bout Money”, is currently getting spins on major radio and video outlets.
