
Mobb Deep's Prodigy, who will begin serving a 3 ½ year sentence for weapons possession next month, will be holding a send off concert/party with various special guests at the B.B. King Blues Club and Grill in New York on February 6th.
During the event, Prodigy will perform his entire upcoming sophomore album titled H.N.I.C 2 which hits shelves in March via Voxonic Music.

Prodigy was originally slated to begin his sentence this month but he was granted a one month adjournment. He will begin his sentence on February 13th.

Controversial rapper NYOIL, well
known for his infamous single “Yall Should Be Lynched” will be releasing a digital EP titled 9 Wonders (NYOIL verses 9th Wonder) in February.
The set will feature NYOIL rapping over nine beats produced by former Little Brother member, 9th Wonder.
“I just treated each beat as if it had never been rhymed to,” NYOIL said via a statement. “I wanted to show my mastery of this style of hip hop, my ability to still build solid ideas, a conscious message, and show the timeless quality of 9th Wonders production”.
9 Wonders (NYOIL verses 9th Wonder) will be available for free download via websites and blogs which have yet to be announced.

According to The Miami New Times, Grown and Gangsta, which will be released via C- Murder's TRU Publishing, is an urban fiction tale based on six friends going through everyday struggles. You can currently preorder the book via Amazon.
