Philly rap group The Roots are currently working on their eighth album titled Rising Down which will be released later this year.

According to a posting on the group's official website, OkayPlayer.com, Rising Down will feature appearances from Mos Def, Common, Talib Kweli, Styles P, Wale, Malik B, Dice Raw, Truck North and P.O.R.N.

Lupe Fiasco and Q-Tip are also expected to be part of the album.

A release date for the project was not revealed.
