Nate Dogg's manager recently revealed that the former Deathrow Records crooner is paralyzed on the left side on his body after a recent stroke.
Nate (born Nathaniel Hale) suffered the stroke during the holiday season. His manager, Rod McGrew, revealed to MTV News that the singer did not suffer any damage to his brain or his voice, and should fully recover in time .
“Time will tell everything, obviously. The doctor can only guess what the outcome will be,” McGrew said. “But based on situations with similar people his age, and based on his health, the prognosis is good right now.”
Nate began his career as part of the group 213 which also included Warren G and Snoop Dogg.
He played a huge role in the success of Deathrow Records in the early 90's appearing on Dr. Dre's The Chronic, Snoop Dogg's Doggy Style and 2Pac's All Eyez On Me.
