
Legendary producer Pete Rock will be releasing his latest album titled NY's Finest on February 26th via Nature Sounds Records.
The album is produced entirely by Pete Rock except for one track which was crafted by DJ Green Lantern.
“I called it NY’s Finest because I feel like that’s me,” Rock said in a statement. “I’m one of New York’s finest producers.”
NY's Finest features appearances from Jim Jones, Styles P, Sheek Louch,Raekwon, Masta Killa, Papoose, Little Brother and Redman.
A bonus track featuring Slum Village will be found on a special iTunes version of the album.

Bay Area rap stalwart Del The Funky Homosapien will be releasing his fifth solo album titled Eleventh Hour on March 11th.
The album, which will be released via Definitive Jux Records, is produced entirely by Del.

FOR THE CAUSE
T.I. will be among various artists taking part in this year’s installment of Playboy Magazine’s ‘Rock the Rabbit’.
According to MTV, T.I. along with Daft Punk , Duran Duran and Iggy Pop will appear in the magazine's March issue and will help create limited-edition T-shirt designs which will be auctioned off. Profits from the shirts will go to 'Rock the Vote'.
T.I. , who is presently under house arrest awaiting trial on weapons charges, is currently working on his sixth album, Paper Trail.
