Carol City rapper Flo Rida has reportedly set a record in single week digital sales with his hit single “Low” which features T-Pain.
According to Billboard, “Low” sold 470,000 digital downloads last week surpassing Fergie's record of 294,000, which she set with her single “Fergalicious”.
"Low" is also currently the No. 1 single in the country as it sits on top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 above Alicia Keys' “No One” and Timbaland's “Apologize”.
As reported earlier, Flo Rida's debut album, Mail On Sunday, will hit shelves February 2008 via Poe Boy Entertainment/Atlantic Records. The set will feature appearances from T-Pain, Rick Ross and Trey Songz. Production on the album is supplied by The Runners, JR Rotem and DJ Montay, among others.
Prior to his song dominating airwaves, Flo Rida chopped it up with Sixshot about his path to scoring a record deal and his future goals. Check it Out.
