Trick Daddy’s manager, Charles Young, recently confirmed to Sixshot.com that the Miami bred rapper has been in talks to align himself with G-Unit.

Ever since reports surfaced that Trick wanted to part ways with his longtime recording home, Slip-N-Slide, rumors of the rapper signing with G-Unit have been swirling.

Young confirmed to Sixshot.com that there have been negotiations between Trick Daddy and G-Unit but nothing has materialized and that the rapper currently has no ties to any label.

“We have thought about doing business with G-Unit, there’s interest,” Young revealed.

“There is interest on their side and our side also.  Young Buck and Trick talk all the time, Buck and 50 Cent had a talk, 50 and Buck called Trick.  You know, just talking about making things happen,” Young continued.  “It’s all business man, and if we can make it make sense, then it is what it is.  But as of right now we haven’t signed with anyone. Trick is a free agent.”

Trick Daddy’s rel ationship with Miami DJ and Terror Squad affiliate, DJ Khaled, has raised the question if there will be a conflict of interest if Trick signs with G-Unit.

Young Buck has constantly accused Khaled of refusing to give records by G-Unit members any airplay in Miami because of 50 Cent’s rift with Terror Squad honcho, Fat Joe.

Khaled recently denied Buck’s accusations stating that Buck isn’t getting much play anywhere because he doesn’t have hit records.

Despite the finger pointing and tension, Young says no rifts will stop Trick Daddy from making a deal he deems acceptable.

Khaled is We The Best Music, we're family with KhaledKhaled is our boy but its business and at the end of the day, Buck and Trick, they've been down forever,” Young told Sixshot.com.  “How can they be a conflict of interest if its business?  Whoever has beef with whoever, that’s their problem; they need to work it out.”

In SeptemberTrick Daddy was arrested and hospitalized following an incident at a Miami strip club called the Tootsie’s Cabaret.  Reports claimed that Trick Daddy was part of a brawl but Young says the rapper was attacked by the nightspot’s security.

“He was not in a fight at the club,” emphasized Young. “Trick never goes out alone but for some strange reason he went out alone to meet up with some friends of his at [Tootsie's] which he never, ever, frequents. Trick is usually at the grungy clubs. Basically he went to the VIP section that they have upstairs and the bouncers jumped Trick. The bouncers are saying they didn’t know it was Trick.”

Trick was the one who called for the news people and he was arrested for the simple fact some of the police were working for the club,” Young explained. “But it was a good look anyways, because there is a pretty big lawsuit with that situation.  It wasn’t a fight or a brawl, no one actually saw it.  It was upstairs in the VIP area.”
