Jim Jones and Styles P yesterday (December 16) announced that they will be releasing an album together via Koch Records during an interview with British hip hop radio host Tim Westwood on BBC's 1Xtra.

“Me and Styles got an album coming out,” Jones revealed.  “The Ghost and The Capo, NYC to the fullest!  It’s a good thing, shout out to Koch, they giving up that paper, so why not?”

“They say there is not a lot of unity where we come from.  [Jim] represents a strong army and I represent a strong army, so there is money to be made,” added Styles P. “ He’s been on the grind a long time, I’ve been on the grind a long time and besides music there isn’t too many artists I bump with in the industry.  Me and Jim we’ve had a relationship over the years, we see each other in the hood and we've kicked it. Somebody gotta put the city on their back , so w e gonna put it on our backs.”

“We got some fire” emphasized Jones.  “ Good music, good NYC music, something they haven’t heard in a minute.  Music is everywhere nowadays but New York set the precedent and we gotta get back to that.  Its gonna be a good event , me and P.”

Jones, who has n’t been on speaking terms with Dipset honcho Cam’ron, also revealed that people from their camps have had conversations and a third installment of the Diplomatic Immunity series is in the works.

Jones also divulged that his reality show with VH1 has been given the green light.

As reported earlier, Jay-Z's contract with Def Jam as President/CEO of the revered hip hop label expires this month.  Hov and Def Jam are currently negotiating a new contract.

Rumors that have been swirling around the past few months claim that if Jay-Z doesn’t return to Def Jam he will be headed to Columbia/Sony Records where Jim Jones signed to in October.

When asked what would occur if Jay-Z goes to Columbia/Sony and takes a presidential position which would have the Rocafella founder overseeing his project, Jones replied: “If you remember the movie Backstage [where] Dame Dash was barking on Kevin Liles,  If Jay take that position, he will be Kevin Liles and I’ll be barking on him.”
