R&B singer Bobby Valentino took time out of his busy schedule today (December 10th) to give back to his community of Atlanta, GA this holiday season.
Valentino along with his Bobby Valentino Foundation (BVF) held their holiday giveaway at the Sullivan Center on Monday.
The giveaway is an annual tradition for the BVF which has been organizing holiday giveaways for the past two years.
Valentino spent time with 15 local families in need that his organization has adopted. In addition the foundation distributed toys and food.
On Friday (December 7), the BVF, in coordination with the Atlanta Urban Gardening Program (AUGP) donated more than 100 turkeys and fresh vegetables to senior citizen gardeners for their holiday enjoyment.
Valentino founded the BVF to assist urban students and the underserved in Atlanta, GA.
Valentino is perhaps best known for his 2005 hit song, "Slow Down", off of his 2005 self-titled debut album, which was largely produced by the successful production team of Tim & Bob.
The crooner is currently in the studio recording his follow-up album to this year’s sophomore release, Special
Occasion. The forthcoming album is currently untitled and slated for release early 2008.
