
West Coast rap duo The Dogg Pound today (November 28) announced that they have terminated their deal with Cash Money Records.
In a statement on their official website, the duo claimed they severed ties with Cash Money because the label ‘couldn't come up with the cash’.
The Dogg Pound is comprised of Daz Dilinger and Kurupt. Daz is currently gearing up to release a movie called Make It Rain and an album titled Only On the Left Side.

Freeway’s sophomore album, Free At Last, debuted at No. 42 on The Billboard 200 this week.
According to Billboard, the album scanned 36,000 copies in its opening week.
Free At Last features appearances from Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross and Scarface.

Fat Joe will be honored tomorrow (November 29) for his efforts and support to In Arms Reach Inc., a nonprofit group that reaches out to New York children whose parents are or have been incarcerated.
According to MTV, In Arms Reach will honor the Terror Squad honcho at a dinner and awards ceremony at the City University of New York's City College.
“I'm proud to help bring awareness to this segment of youth, at a time when so many of our families in the minority community remain separated by the system,” Joe said in a statement.
As reported earlier, Fat Joe is currently working on his eighth solo album titled The Elephant In The Room. The set, which will feature appearances from Diddy, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, will hit stores on March 11th 2008
