Fat Joe recently revealed the names of the new members of his Terror Squad crew.
Terror Squad was initially made up of Joe, the late Big Pun, Remy Ma, Tony Sunshine, Prospect, Cuban Link and Armageddon. DJ Khaled and producers Cool & Dre were also closely affiliated with the group.
Cuban Link would exit Terror Squad after a fall out with Fat Joe while Remy Ma , Prospect and Armageddon would all exit from the group after the release of the group’s second album.
Fat Joe recently told MTV’s Mixtape Monday that the new members of Terror Squad are O.Z. from Miami, H-Mob, The Leader, Cool & Dre, DJ Khaled and Tony Sunshine.
“That's it. That's the crew,” Joe revealed. “Remy Ma, obviously, she's not down no more. The problem with her [is] we're hot. She don't wanna be down. Everything is a grind. I worked my whole career. I never woke up and was platinum. We all paid dues, we all grind. She figured it would be overnight success. She chose to go her way; we been ki
lling them every since. She might have put the battery in our back to go on this run.”
“As far as Armageddon and Prospect, Armageddon is always gonna be my brother for life. He's a cool dude. But I haven't been with them for a year, year and half. ... I still haven't heard an Armageddon mixtape or Prospect mixtape,” Joe continued. “Their work ethic is they don't want it. They good n---as, I'm not trying to sh-- on them, they good dudes, but for so many years, they don't wanna work or make music. I had to let them go.”
Terror Squad inked a deal with Koch Records last month and will be releasing two albums via the deal.
Fat Joe is currently working on his eighth solo album titled The Elephant In The Room. The album will feature appearances from Diddy, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne.
The Elephant In The Room is slated for release on March 11th 2008 while the release date for the first Terror Squad album via Koch has not been determined.
