Wiz, one half of the Queens rap group The Bravehearts, recently donated one of his kidneys to his five year old daughter.
According to New York’s WABC, Wiz’s daughter, Siahra, was born with a rare kidney abnormality. She lost one kidney when she was 2 years old and was slowing losing the other.
Wiz’s kidney was transplanted into Siahra at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell three weeks ago.
“It was a no-brainer. My daughter needs it and I'm compatible. I just did it,” said Wiz. “I didn't think twice.”
Siahra is currently on various medications, some of which she will have to use for the rest of her life. Her new kidney will reportedly last her 20-30 years.
The Bravehearts, comprised of Wiz and Nas’ brother Jungle, are well known for their hits “Oochie Wally” and “Quick To Back Down”. The duo have appeared on various projects released by Nas.
