
Kanye West will reportedly supply production for Mos Def’s upcoming album for Downtown Recordings.
Downtown CEO Josh Deutsch revealed to Billboard recently that Kanye will produce several tracks on Mos’ forthcoming album which is currently untitled.
As previously reported, Mos severed ties with Geffen Records last year and signed to Downtown Recordings this year. A release date for Mos’ album has not been determined.

5 original tracks from artists from Duck Down Records will be featured during ESPN's coverage of Men's College Basketball this year.
The tracks will include Buckshot’s “All Business”, Tek’s “ Get in the Game”, Smif –N-Wessun’s “Push It” and “Getcha Team” by Heltah Skeltah feat Buckshot.
In related news, Heltah Skeltah will be releasing their first album
in nine years next year.
The duo comprised of Rock and Sean Price will release their third album titled D.I.R.T in the summer of 2008.
ROSS’ RETURN
Rick Ross’ sophomore album, Trilla, will hit stores on December 26th.
The album will feature appearances from Jay-Z, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Akon, T-Pain, Flo Rida and Trick Daddy. The first single off the album , “Speedin',” features R. Kelly and is currently getting spins on the radio.
As reported earlier, Ross and NFL running back Frank Gore will be giving away turkeys to those in need in the Miami community on Saturday (November 17).
The giveaway will take place at the Hip Hop Grub Spot in Miami Gardens, Florida.
