An earlier report that claimed a judge had ruled that pictures of Sean 'Diddy' Combs’ rings were not essential to an assault case against him have been corrected .
According to The Associated Press, Superior Court Judge Robert L. Hess did not deny a photo request of Diddy’s rings made by a lawyer representing a man who was allegedly assaulted by the Bad Boy mogul.
The Associated Press claims their report about the judge denying the photo request was ‘erroneous’.
Gerard Rechnitzer, a real estate agent , filed a lawsuit against Diddy in March claiming the mogul punched him in the jaw outside the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles in February.
Rechnitzer said Diddy attacked him while he was trying to stop the Bad Boy mogul from hitting on his fiancé. He also claimed Diddy pushed his fiancé and attempted to spit on another female who was accompanying him.
Rechnitzer’s lawyer would file a motion last month asking Diddy to turn over photos of the rings he wore on the night of the incident as evidence for his client’s injuries.
Diddy has been
accused of assault three times this year including the aformentioned assault claim.
Earlier this month, a hip hop promoter filed a $5 million lawsuit against Diddy claiming the mogul attacked him at New York nightclub in June. Last weekend, Steven Acevedo, one of Diddy’s acquaintances, claims the Bad Boy founder attacked him over a woman at an after party.
