Sean "Diddy" Combs could be facing another assault charge as reports have surfaced that the Bad Boy mogul attacked one of his acquaintances at an after party in New York yesterday (October 13).
According to The New York Post, Diddy and his entourage were outside the Kiosk store where the after party was held around 3 a.m., and he reportedly got into a heated dispute with his associate Steven Acevedo over a woman.
Acevedo told authorities that they both backed away from each other but continued to exchange insults. Diddy would then punch him twice in the face while screaming, “I'll kill you, punk!”
Acevedo said when he tried to retaliate, one of Diddy’s bodyguards reached for his waist as if going for a gun. Acevedo would leave the scene and head home where he called 911 and filed a report.
The attack reportedly left Acevedo with a fat lip and bloody nose.
Authorities are investigating if the Kiosk had any surveillance video which might have
caught the incident. The store sells high-end ornaments during the day and hosts parties at night.
The authorities are also looking to question Diddy and want him to give a statement. He had not be
en arrested or charged at press time.
Messages which were left for Diddy’s representative were not returned.
This marks the third time this year that Diddy has been accused of assault.
Last week, a hip hop promoter filed a $5 million lawsuit against Diddy claiming the mogul attacked at New York nightclub in June. In February, a real estate agent claimed Diddy assaulted him while he was trying to stop the Bad Boy founder from hitting on his fiancé.
