T.I. was reportedly arrested in Atlanta today (October 13) afternoon.

According to Atlanta Fox 5, Federal agents searched the rapper’s home while he was taken into custody.
The authorities did not reveal the specific charges that T.I. is facing but did say that their investigation involving the Atlanta bred rapper ‘unfolded quickly’.
T.I. was scheduled to perform at the BET Hip Hop Awards today (October 13) at Atlanta's Civic Center.
T.I. leads the Hip Hop Awards with nine nominations include ‘Best Live Performance’, ‘Hustler of The Year and ‘MVP Of The Year’.
Updated October 13 (8:35 pm): TMZ reports the agencies at the scene during T.I.'s arrest included The ATF, U.S. Marshalls: Fugitive Task Force, Fulton County SWAT, Fulton County PD, Dekalb County PD, and the ATF/Atlanta PD Violent Crime Impact Team.

COLOR: red">T.I. has already begun working on his sixth album which is currently untitled. He recently released the video for his third single of T.I. Vs T.IP titled “Hurt”, which youcan watch here.
He is also working on putting togther a super group with Nelly and will appear in the crime drama American Gangster alongside Denzel Washintgton.
American Gangster is based on the true story of Manhattan kingpin Frank Lucas (played by Washington) who smuggled heroin into the United States in the 70's via coffins of dead soldiers returning from Vietnam.
Sixshot had a chance to talk to Frank Lucas' son last week and he spoke on the movie, his father and his thoughts on Jay-Z saying American Gangster influenced his upcoming album of the same name.
