BIG BUSINESS
Koch Records issued a press release today (October 11) clarifying Jim Jones' deal with Sony/Columbia.
Jones revealed last week that he had signed a multi-million deal with Sony/Columbia but apparently Koch Records, which released Jones’ three albums, is also part of the deal.
According to Koch, they will continue to market and do radio promotion for Jones while Columbia will “oversee all aspects of [Jones’] campaigns.
Jones, who also serves as an A&R for Warner Music Group , has begun working on a new album.
Note: Koch Records is one of various buyers looking to acquire Deathrow Records.
