Joe Budden today (October 9) confirmed the rampant rumors about being released by Def Jam Records to Allhiphop.

Budden hasn’t released an album on the label since his 2003 self titled debut and  has publicly expressed his frustration with label over the past two years because of creative differences and the recurring delay of his second album, The Growth.

“I'm just happy we were finally able to cut all ties.  I feel like I have all the talent in the world, but for some reason was never able to showcase it there,” Budden said. “I'm looking forward to whatever God has in store for me, and Joe Budden fans should know - today is a beautiful day”.

Budden is currently working on the third installment of his Mood Muzik mixtape series.
