Jermaine Dupri is slated to release a novel and a greatest hits album this month.

According to M&C News, Dupri will release his autobiography Young, Rich, And Dangerous on October 16th. The book will detail Dupri’s rise to fame and will so include rare photos of mogul’s studio sessions, lavish parties and personal life.

On October 23rd , JD will release  his greatest hits compilation titled Y’all Know What This Is …  The Hits. 

The disc will contain ten songs which include hoes collaborations with Jay-Z , Kriss Kross, Mariah Carey, Ciara and Ludarcis , among others.

R&B singer John Legend has launched his own record label called Homeschool Records.

According to Singers Room , the first release off the label will be British artist Estelle with her album Shine, which will hit stores early 2008.  The project will feature collaborations with Legend,  Wyclef Jean, will.i.am, Swizz Beatz, Mark Ronson an d Kanye West.

"This album is truly an accomplishment," Legend said. "She will be one of the most exciting breakthrough talents of 2008.  Mark my words."

THE REAL DEAL

Murder Inc. founder Irv Gotti wants everyone to know what a ‘good guy’ he is  so much that he will bare a all in his upcoming VH1 reality show titled Gotti's Way.

The show , which will premiere on October 15 , will give fans an intimate look at the hip hop mogul’s family life and his interaction with his artists which include Ja Rule, Lloyd and Vanessa Carlton.

Gotti was accused of laundering drug money for infamous Queens dealer Kenneth McGriff. The case's trial greatly affected the running off Gotti's label and personal life.

Gotti was acquitted of the money laundering charges in 2005 and has been working on getting personal and professional life back on track.

“You got to realize that I never was tried for anything in my life (before),” Gotti told The National Ledger. “To go in there facing 20 years against the federal government, it was a very enlightening experience. It made me realize who is really with me in life.”

“ I don’t want to have to go through that again to realize it, but at the same time, it made me open my eyes."  Gotti added.

Gotti’s Way will feature guest appearances from Jay-Z and Russell Simmons , among others. Watch the show's trailer below:
