Billboard reports that Kanye West is eyeing a September release for his third Def Jam album, Graduation, which will feature Coldplay's Chris Martin on the song "Graduation" as well as track "Can't Tell Me Nothing," a snippet of which has begun making the rounds online.

The latter cut, which was assembled with the help of DJ Toomp, finds West rapping, "I had a dream I could buy my way to heaven / When I woke I spent that on a necklace / I told God I'd be back in a second / Man, it's so hard not to act reckless."

West previously told Billboard he'd be working again with producer/multi-instrumentalist Jon Brion, who played a key role on his 2005 album Late Registration.

The artist will make a handful of live appearances this summer, beginning July 2 in Manchester, England, and including a July 7 set at Live Earth in East Rutherford, N.J., a July 14 stop at the Cisco Systems Bluesfest in Ottawa, Ontario, and an Aug. 18-19 booking at the U.K.'s V Festival.

West also lends a hand on Common's new album, Finding Forever, due July 10 via Geffen.

Hmm
I think Kanye has lost his touch since College Dropout which was a classic album. He is wayyyyyyyyyyy too cocky for his own good and lost touch with his fans. He used to have his site up and running with ALL of his tracks playing and you could listen to the full parental advisery ones for free. No you to watch videos and shit to listen to his tracks. WTF Kanye. But why drop it in September? School lets out in May would be more fittin, 'Graduation'-college...see wha I'm sayin. Kanye first get your head outta your ass then get back to the people that matter, your fans...1
