Ever since the death of The Notorious B.I.G., the relationship between Lil’ Kim and Diddy has been tenuous. Now, the two superstars look to put the past behind them as Diddy has called on Kim to appear on the remix to his hit song, “Last Night.”
“The success of ‘Last Night’ has truly been a blessing and you know I had to do a remix,” Diddy says. “It feels great to be working with Lil’ Kim again after all these years.” Kim’s appearance on the track marks her return to hip-hop after her stint in a Philadelphia prison.
“We’ve always had amazing chemistry together,” Kim says. “It was a great feeling to pick back up where we left off years ago and do it again.” Diddy is also reaching out to various artists, such as The Game, Busta Rhymes, Rich Boy, Noreaga and Yung Joc for additional “Last Night” remixes.
“I appreciate all of the people who have constantly supported the album and also appeared on the remixes,” Diddy says. “And a special ‘thank you’ to Keyshia Cole for blessing this track with her beautiful voice.”
