Redman`s oft-delayed new album, Red Gone Wild, will finally be released March 27 via Def Jam. First single "Put It Down" was produced by Timbaland and is at radio now. The accompanying video will be shot in the coming days and is tipped to debut the first week of March.

Other featured producers on 'Wild' include Erick Sermon, Scott Storch, Rockwilder and Eminem. The album also boasts collaborations with labelmate/cousin Method Man, Nate Dogg, Keith Murray and Biz Markie.

Redman has been fairly quiet since his last studio album, 2001`s 'Malpractice,' which has sold 685,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. He has released two volumes of the 'Ill at Will' mixtapes, which also feature his Gilla House crew.

Having completed a run on the Rock the Bells tour just before the end of 2006, Redman is expected to perform at an as-yet-unannounced showcase
