After being put on hold by Interscope for well over a year with his sophomore project Time is Money, the Yonkers rapper, Styles P has been released from his contract by the mighty Interscope. The Lox however still remain under the Interscope umbrella.

While waiting for Time is Money to hit shelves, Styles P was constantly recording music and 'his next solo album is expected to hit shelves in April on an independent label' said the rappers publicist.

Styles is recovering from a recent road rage incident which occurred in Westchester and resulted in the rapper starting the New Year with a broken leg.
