Just three days after their latest album, Chemically Imbalanced, hit stores, the Ying Yang Twins have announced a split with their longtime producer, Mr. Collipark, who executive produced it.

Chemically Imbalanced marks the Atlanta duo’s final release on Collipark Music. “We’ve done five albums together and I just think we have done all we can together,” Collipark said of the breakup, sparked by a disagreement over the group’s creative direction.

The duo will remain signed to TVT Records, which handled Collipark Music’s distribution. Mr. Collipark, whose real name is Michael Crooms, was the force behind the group’s hit single, “Wait (The Whisper Song).”
