Comedian/rapper Katt Williams was arrested Monday at Los Angeles International Airport for carrying a concealed weapon, according to authorities.

Williams, 35, whose first name is Micah, was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Monday by airport police, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Mike Lopez of the Media Relations office said.

Williams was booked for possession of a firearm, which turned out to be stolen, and was held without bail on a warrant from Kalamazoo, Mich., Lopez said. The nature of the warrant was not immediately reported.

Williams, who won the Entertainer's Anheuser-Busch "Best Los Angeles Comic's Award" in 2001, allegedly was caught with a concealed weapon in his carry-on luggage at a security checkpoint in Terminal 5.

Williams is scheduled to host BET's first-ever Hip Hop Awards this month, TMZ.com reported. He has worked on musical projects with various rappers, including Snoop Dogg
