While Michigan State Police are currently waiting on witnesses to come forward in the weekend shooting of Obie Trice, a bullet still stays in his head.

According to reports, doctors remain hesitant to remove the bullet because it would be too risky.

In statement issued through a press release , Obie said:

"This is living in Detroit, and that's all. You hear about it because it's me, I got ties to Eminem or whatever, but I got people thatare out there dealing with it every single day where I'm from.  As far as all the rumors and guessing games, people talking road rage and all that nonsense, I'm not getting involved in any of that right now."

Trice, 28, was driving on the Lodge Freeway Saturday night when his vehicle was fired upon by someone in another vehicle.

His girlfriend who was also in the car wasn’t injured.

The rapper was taken to an area hospital where he was treated and released Saturday morning. 

Police have no suspects as of yet and so far haven’t released any information on the vehicle that the shot came from.
