Young Buck's lawyers were in a Los Angeles courtroom on Thursday (November 10) for a pretrial hearing in connection with the melee at last fall's Vibe Awards.

What is called a jury trial date setting, where the start date and other details of a trial will be determined, was postponed to December 12.

The G-Unit rapper has already pleaded not guilty to assault with a deadly weapon.

MTV Orders Second Season Of 'Run's House'

MTV has ordered a second season of its hip-hop reality show, Run's House, it was reported Wednesday.

The first four episodes of the show based on the life of Joey Simmons, aka Rev. Run of  Run DMC, have averaged 2.1 million viewers, Daily Variety reported.

The show follows the rap star and producer as he juggles between his career and raising five children.

The second season is scheduled to hit MTV in 2006.

Master P Launches Distribution Company

On November 15th, 504 Boyz  will release the album Hurricane Katrina:  We Gonna Bounce Back.

On November 22nd, LIL' ROMEO and his crew RICH BOYZ will release Young Ballers :The Hood Been Good To Us and MASTER P's  solo Living Legend: Certified D-Boy arrives in stores on November 29th. 

P has also signed to star in Saw 3 and his character is currently being developed.

Rumors had begun circulating the net that  rapper Queen Latifah and World recognized female boxing champion Laila Ali had begun dating after her divorce.

Laila issued a statement yesterday saying "Yes, I am in the process of getting a divorce, but I am not dating, nor will I ever be dating a woman, because I am not gay.  It is unfortunate that my divorce has started rumors in the media that are untrue."

Ali is currently training for an upcoming bout in Berlin, Germany, December 17th, as part of a world tour that she will be embarking on through 2006.

Ashanti recently shot the video to her latest single "Still On It" which features Paul Wall and Method Man .

The single is from Collectables by Ashanti which will include rare remixes of six singles and four new songs including "Still On It,". The compilation is set to hit stores on December 6th.
