Political rap duo Dead Prez is in hot water with the National Conference of Black Mayors.
The rappers, Sticman and M-1, recently performed in front of teenagers at the organization's annual convention in Columbus, Ohio.
The convention's executive director Vanessa Williams says the MCs violated a written contract to leave out profanity when they performed.
Williams says the hip-hop group will be held accountable and she would like for them to make a public apology to the students who attended the event and the organization.
Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman says he had no input on who would be speaking at the event and blasted the performance, calling it an outrage.

I Dont Understand This
Swearing; everybody swares, swaring is part of life, those student who listened swear, so do their parents and so on. So taking swearing out is just like sheliding the people listening from reality and making what they are saying less real. Nobody lives without swearing so why shouldnt music contain swearing.
