Ready To Sell*

Reports are circulating that P .Diddy  is considering to move Bad Boy Entertainment to Warner Music Group from Universal Music Group, a source familiar with the situation confirms.

The deal could have Warner buying half of Diddy's imprint for around $30 million. Bad Boy has a distribution pact with Universal Records that runs through 2006,

Diddy took full control of Bad Boy -- including ownership of its artist roster and catalog -- in 2002 after exiting a joint-venture deal with Arista Records.

He Got 'Game"*

Fans are still clamoring for the Game, prompting the return of his Aftermath/G-Unit/Interscope debut The Documentary to No. 1 on The Billboard 200. Despite a 28% slide, sales of 190,000 U.S. copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan, are enough to stave off an influx of new titles and retake the lead. John Legend's Get Lifted makes a one spot leap to No. 5 on the strength of a 46% gain to 93,000 units.

Eminem's Encore dips 5-7 despite a 9% increase to sales of 85,000 copies. Rounding out the top tier, Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz's Crunk Juice saw a 10% boost to 69,000 units, but falls 7-9, while Usher's Confession Your browser does not support inline frames or is currently configured not to display inline frames. >s drops 9-10 despite a 20% gain to 69,000.

Holding Court

Nelly, Ice Cube, along with TV star Donald Faison of Scrubs will join NBA and WNBA players for the McDonald's NBA All-Star Celebrity Game presented by Sprite as part of NBA All-Star 2005 in Denver.  The game will be televised live on ESPN on Friday, February 18 at 7:00 pm (ET) from NBA All-Star Jam Session. Halftime of the game will feature a special musical performance by 18-year-old R&B sensation Ciara.

Other celebrity participants include Jermaine Dupri and Brian McKnight.

In other news, Nelly willl be the first Hip-Hop act to play in the Star of Texas Rodeo in the two-week festival's 68-year history. The event will be held on March 23rd.
