Zingy, the Americas' leading mobile media company, has announced  a worldwide agreement with self-proclaimed #1 producer and rap artist Kanye West to deliver West's content to mobile phone users.

As part of the agreement, West, who received more Grammy nominations than any other artist in 2004, will provide screensavers, wallpapers, voicemail greetings, voice ringtones and voice ringback tones.

A relatively new phenomenon, ringback tones replace the sound that indicates the phone is ringing on the other end (usually a "ring ring") with music or voice messages.

"Creative and groundbreaking artists like Kanye West are embracing the mobile platform as an effective way to reach fans both old and new," commented Andy Volanakis, COO of Zingy. "By providing mobile content through Zingy, artists can extend their reach, build strong relationships with their fans and most importantly, drive revenues.Mobile content is truly the next step in the entertainment food chain and we have just started to scratch the surface of its potential."

Over the past year, Zingy has established itself as the leader in bringing renowned artists to the mobile medium. In addition to West, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Ludacris, D12, Fabolous, Prince, Michelle Branch, Jurassic 5 and many other influential artists have struck direct content distribution relationships with Zingy.

Kan ye West's original content will initially be made available through Zingy's vast distribution network of carriers and media partners including AOL, Boost Mobile, Cingular, Microsoft's MSN, *MTV on Virgin Mobile, Nextel, Sprint PCS and T-Mobile and Zingy's own Web site, http://www.zingy.com.

The retail price of the Kanye West content will range from $1.49 to $2.99 per download.

This worldwide agreement with Kanye West was established in partnership between Zingy and music industry executive Joe "3H" Weinberger.

Zingy also announced an exclusive agreement with Aaliyah, LLC to distribute previously unreleased Aaliyah mobile content toconsumers worldwide. As part of the agreement, a percentage of the proceeds will go to the Aaliyah Memorial Fund, a non-profit organization supporting Alzheimer's, AIDS and Breast Cancer Research. T

This is one of the first times mobile content has been used to generate revenues for a charitable organization and the first time a new Aaliyah song has been first released as a ringtone.

Specific content being offered by Zingy includes a complete suite of Aaliyah wallpapers and a ringtone of her previously unreleased version of "Ave Maria."

The Aaliyah Memorial Fund was created to support causes Aaliyah, a talented and popular young artist who died tragically in 2001, found important. These include, but are not limited to, Breast Cancer research, AIDS awareness and relief and Alzheimer's research.

"We are honored to be working with the Aaliyah Memorial Fund and contributing to its work on behalf of Breast Cancer and Alzheimer's patients," commented Andy Volanakis, COO of Zingy. "In the short time this content has been available, it has been extremely popular with consumers, demonstrating that mobile phones are an excellent platform not only for sharing Aaliyah's beautiful music but also for generating revenue and support for charitable causes."

"It is extremely important to me, our family, and Aaliyah's fans that we continue to honor her memory," said the Haughton Family in a statement.

"Through our work with Zingy, we are able to bring her music and photos to millions of mobile phone users and at the same time, contribute to the causes that meant so much to her."

The Aaliyah "Ave Maria" ringtone and multiple wallpapers will be made available through Zingy's vast distribution network of carriers and media partners including AOL, Boost Mobile, Cingular, Microsoft's MSN, *MTV on Virgin Mobile, Nextel, Sprint PCS and T-Mobile and its own Web site, http://www.zingy.com.

The retail price of the Aaliyah content will  alsorange from $1.49 to $2.99 per download.
