Out Da Box Entertainment's "It's Your Country! It's Your Right!" announced plans for "The Block Party" concert.
Teaming up with Rap the Vote and Rock the Vote, "The Block Party" will highlight the importance of the youth vote. The October 15th, 2004 concert explodes at the legendary Beacon Theater less than three before weeks the 2004 Presidential Election Day on November 2nd.
The concert will blend R&B, Hip-Hop and Comedy. Performances by members
of G-Unit , DJ Clue, Dead Prez, Sugarhill Gang, and Wordsworth will be coupled
with comedians such as Drew Frasier (Comedy Central Presents), and Capone
(Comedy Central's Comic Groove) and Haitian Will (Premium Blend).
This eventwill be hosted by Talent (Host of the 98.7 KISS FM/NY Morning Show) and DJEnvy (Hot 97.1 FM). Some of the hottest Comedians and Hip Hop Acts will be
showcased. Top international comedians and other special guests will also be on hand to show their support and promote the power of the vote.

ess. Over 3000 potential voters will be educated and motivated at this concert. Registration and information tables will be located in the theater to facilitate voter registration and to encourage awareness.
