Comeback kid---Mase is facing legal action, after he failed to attend a New York concert he was scheduled to headline.
On Saturday night (September 25th), hordes of fans flocked to Long Island's Nassau Coliseum for the Welcome Back concert, which had Fat Joe, Terror Squad, Elephant Man, Mobb Deep and Lil Flip among the list of scheduled performers.
But, on arrival, fans were greeted instead with signs alerting them that Mase, would not be performing and they had the option to get their money back.
Promoter Naquan Busby fumes, "Bottom line, we got a signed contract from him for the show. Mase was the only act on the whole bill that was paid 100 per cent of his money upfront. He got it, every dime. Homeboy was paid. He disappointed his fans. He disappointed everybody."
Busby said that in addition to wiring Mase's $45,000 performance fee to an account, he also sent the MC plane tickets to travel from Atlanta to New York. Busby says he got word from Mase's camp on Friday that the rapper wouldn't appear and would be spending time with his wife and newborn son instead.
Busby claims he was able to recover only $26,000 of his money and will be suing Mase for the rest.
Mase and his managers have yet to comment.

I admire Ma$e for turning down a concert to spend time with his wife and NEWBORN son. How could anyone hate on that? I wish my father cared for me over his business or line of work.

Dat Was Messed Up
Of course, my friend bought me some tickets to that concert. I hav a feelin the concert was a whole lot better without dat cornball. When Elephant Man tol everybody to turn their cellphones on and he cut da lights off it was like a room lit up by stars. The whole coliseum smelled like rifa tho. Lil Flip tore it up.Diplomats tore it up....Everybody except the openin acts did cuz most got booed of.lol

Once again people, another classic example of how fake and unappreciative Mase is. He doesn't give two shits about fans or none of that. He just wants the money. How he gon take that young man's money and then not show up for the show? That's some bullshit,yo. That nigga don't deserve none of the things he has and if he keep making people mad like this, he gon have to go in hiding again. Betha, you shoulda kept preachin cuz rap aint a good look for you,B.
