Nas To Drop In November!

We previously reported  Nas's double album Street's Disciple which was slated to drop on September 28th had been pushed back to December but according to Nas's official website, the album will drop in November.

As previously announced , Nas will perform  the single "Mississippi Jones from his upcoming double album with his father Olu Dara (legendary trumpeter) at the MOBO's (Music Of Black Origin Awards) on September 30th 2004.

The show will be hosted by Pharrell Williams at London's Royal Albert Hall and will be broadcast on October 4th on BBC. 

Brandy is also expected to perform and Kanye West currently has seven nominations  - for Best Hip-Hop, Best Video, Best Producer, Best Single, Best Album and two nominations in the Best Collaboration category which  makes him the highest n ominated artist in the nine-year history of Music Of Black Origin Awards(MOBO).

In related news, Nas is due in court on September 21st for charges of second-degree assault stemming from an incident inside New York's Cielo nightclub on December 10th 2003.

Yukmouth Vs Game

The war of words which began lightly on forums has now become an official beef between Yukmouth (of Luniz fame) and Game. Both very prominent West Coast artists have released records with harsh words towards each other.

Game strikes first with "I Got A Mill On It' which has him rapping over the beat of "I Got 5 On It" taking stabs at Domination and Yukmouth:

As previously reported, Game's debut album Ni**a witta Attitude which was slated to drop on October 12th has been pushed back to December 7th.

50 Cent , Lloyd Banks Take On Shyne and Nas!

On Big Mike's latest mixtape Professional Hood S**t ...50 Cent and Lloyd Banks add fuel to the fire by taking shots at Nas and Shyne on the track "Ya'll N****z Starving".

Responding to Nas’s comments at his free concert at Central Park and Shyne 's "For The Record"...Lloyd unleashes venomous subliminal punch lines while 50 (who doesn't even rhyme on the song) calls out Nas and Shyne by name and has the following to say:

About Nas:  I heard that n***a Nas taking about me, he don’t want it with me, he can’t even f**k with my n****z....
