Queen Latifah Sings!

After taking along break from music to concentrate on an acclaimed film career that has included performances in Chicago and Barbershop 2: Back in Business....Queen Latifah will return on September 28th with the album---The Dana Owens Album which finds Latifah singing jazz, soul and pop classics.

She will release  a pair of singles premiering tomorrow (August 24th) via AOL Music's "First Listen" program. On September 3rd, she'll make a special appearance in Lion's Gate Films' The Cookout, which boasts an ensemble cast also features Eve and Ja Rule.

EPMD, Talib Kweli,  De La Soul Return In September!

EPMD/PMD, Talib Kweli and De La Soul will all drop their anticipated albums on September 28th,2004.

Talib's The Beautiful Struggle will be his second solo project and features guest appearances from Mos Def, Common, Kanye West, Mary J Blige and more.

De La Soul's eighth album The Grind Date will feature MF Doom, Common, Sean Paul, and Ghostface Killah. Production on the album comes from Jay Dee, Madlib, and Jake One.

EPMD/PMD’s Danger Zone/The Truth first singles are also titled "Danger Zone " and "The Truth".

"Danger Zone'' has the duo reuniting to make a banger reminiscent to classic tracks like "Crossover" and "Da Joint" while PMD does it solo on the grimy track "The Truth" .
