New York, NY--- “It’s the Nuts baby’!!  To remain among Hiphop’s elite, it’s no longer sufficient to just relay on lyrical expertise.  While Hiphop’s surging popularity has the urban market flooded, there is a new premium being placed on diversity, as you must be able to man the boards, direct musical content and deliver verses that will appeal to both the underground and mainstream; and it’s not surprising that there are fewer artists able to hold down both arenas.  Yet, for a decade, the Corona, Queens Duo of Psycho Les and Junkyard Juju, better known as the Beatnuts have exemplified these requirements, displaying their ability to relentlessly issue the illest instrumentals paired with blistering hot lyrics.

As the title, Milk Me, suggests, the Nuts are back with their brash sense of humor and as Les matter-of-factly states on “We Don’t Give A Funk” the “summer heat for your jeeps.”  Those in search of the infectious grooves that made previous stand-outs like “Off The Books” and “Watch Out Now” indelible classics will find refuge in the sure-fire hit “Find Us” (In The Back Of The Club) featuring the thuggish vocals of SRC/Universal artist Akon and the LP’s lead-single “Hot,” which Greg Nice eloquently sums up with his energetic hook “this shit is so damn hot.”

Besides the usual assortment of catchy gems that you’ll be humming long after their initial reception, the Nuts and Freeway give th e streets something to speak on with “U Nahmsayin’”, an aggressive ode’ to the most common used slang word in the Urban dictionary and “Confused Rappers” where JuJu delivers a verbal spanking to a certain actress/singer for improperly lifting “Watch Out Now” for what has now become her trademark single “you know you haven’t been to the block for a minute/getting all the little Latin girls to bite/when you really can’t sing and your no Salma Hayek.”

With Milk Me, the Beatnuts do your body and ears good on 8-31-04!!
