Cosby word
I have the utmost respect for Bill Cosby, but you can't just make some statement that direct and all inclusive without having all your facts. Yea, a lot of hip hop is degrading women, most of them bitches deserve it. A lot of rap celebrates violence, yet the US has committed more murders in the recent times then any rapper could've done harm. Not to mention, the lives niggaz live. Niggas be forced to grow up in a fucked up home, in a fucked up environment. It ain't even about what you see, cause I see a mother fuckin air conditioner in my window, that don't mean rap about it. It's about what niggas have gone through. Go through. Niggaz can't get jobs. Niggaz can't eat. Niggaz gettin treated like we ain't supposed to be respected, so how the fuck we gonna learn tollerance? Cut the bullshit. If Bill really that concerned other then to say this hand me down ass statement, then take a better stand. You got money, help present more jobs for more people, regardless of background. Help niggaz eat.
Last statement. Look at niggaz like Bizzy, Like Nas, Like DMX, Like T.I., etc. They represent a struggle because they can't act like they haven't gone through the shit that they went through. At the same time, you hear a blessed message in some of their music. A lot of rappers only follow, so they defile the game. But don't let that take away from the trues.
We got waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more real ass niggaz out here in the industry then given credit. People need to open up their eyes, ears and hearts....Listen
