A few weeks after announcing their departure from Arista, The Neptunes' Star Trak Entertainment is reportedly negotiating a deal to join the star studded Interscope Records roster.
According to the New York Post, Interscope chief Jimmy Iovine is presently negotiating with the Virginia tandem of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo and is expected to reach an agreement within a week to 10 days. Sources say the three-year deal should range between $3.5 million to $5 million.
Waiting in limbo while a deal is finalized is Roscoe P. Coldchain, Famlay and The Clipse, who's sophomore album has been pushed from a spring to summer release. In the meantime, N.E.R.D has been hitting stages worldwide in support of their forthcoming sophomore LP, Fly Or Die, which hits stores on March 23rd.
