Rapper Coolio, who became quite famous for his hit "Gangsta's Paradise" feat. LV in 1995 that appeared on both Coolio's record "Gangsta's Paradise" as well as on the soundtrack of "Dangerous Minds", was, according to MTV news, on the set in downtown Los Angeles last weekend to shoot two videos.
Coolio's manager, Josefa Salinas, who also is Coolio's wife, said that Coolio teamed with country star Kenny Rogers(listen to him on the new Wyclef record!) for a video of the 1978 Rogers hit "The Gambler" that the duo remade.
Last weekend, Coolio also produced the video for the first single named "Yo Ho Ho" of his next album. The single will be released around Halloween, the entire new Coolio record titled "Coolio.com" is due to come out in February 2001.
