22-year-old Cam’ron is ready to hit the world’s record stores with his new album called “S.D.E. (Sport, Drugs, Entertainment)” on September 19. According to MTV news, guests on the record are, among others, Prodigy of Mobb Deep, the R’n’B-queens Destiny’s Child, Noreaga, and Osirus aka Ol’ Dirty Bastard whose presence in the studio was just caused by chance. Cam’ron was having a session in the studio and therefore playing a beat, when ODB walked in and was very excited about the beat. He asked whose beat it was and said he liked to get on this beat. Cam’ron agreed : “He wrote it, 10 minutes, went in there, punched in his lines, and left. I never seen him again, ever.”
Cam’ron released his gold-selling debut-album in summer 1998 called “Confessions of Fire”, contenting a barrage of hit singles (“Horse & Carriage” feat. Mase among others). “S.D.E.” will be released on Epic Records, the parent company of Untertainment (founded by Lance “Un” Rivera, remember that stab-affair between Jay-Z and “Un”?). The first single of the record, “What Means The World To You”, is currently on radio. So, Cam, hurry up, we had to wait two years, now we want even some more! (Emm)
